Tanzania also has some island territory that includes Zanzibar also known as Unguja, Mafia, and Pemba. One such park is The Serengeti National park which provides shelter to more than one million species of large mammals. This national park has been chosen as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also named as a 7th world wonder. Here every year wildebeest and Zebras migrate by making their across the plains for fresh grasslands. This national park is home to the endangered Eastern Black Rhinoceros, impala, gazelle, giraffe, great buffalo herds, elephants, and leopard. A large population of elephants can also be found in the Selous Game Reserve.

The main religion of Tanzania is Christianity although there are minorities who are Animist and Muslim. In East Africa, Tanzania is the most linguistically diverse country that are 100 different languages spoken in different regions of the country. It does not have any official language but Swahili is their national language.
