Cabinda an exclave province of Angola shares its border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of the Congo. The country has its largest city Luanda as the capital city also. The economy of Angola is growing very fast because of the abundance of mineral and petroleum resources but it is highly uneven with most of the country’s wealth in the hands of the small sector of the population while others led a poor life. Due to this, most Angolans have a low living standard, low life expectancy, and high infant mortality.

Africa’s second-largest waterfall i.e, the Kalandula waterfalls after Victoria falls which is 105 meters high and has a width of 400 meters lies in Angola. For the people who visit Angola as tourists, the Kalandula waterfalls provide a spectacular view to them. This fall is only five hours of drive from the capital city Luanda, in Malanje province.

An interesting fact about Angola is the discovery of the Giant Sable Antelopes that were supposedly extinct from the earth are now found in Angola and only in this country these rare animals can be seen. The males in Giant Sable Antelopes have horns that can grow up to 165 cms and the female horn can grow up to 142 cms which are as large as an average human being. These horns are curved in shape and they protect them from predators.
